Women of the Harlem Renaissance features writing by: Carrie Williams Clifford, Clara Ann Thompson, Alice Dunbar-Nelson, Nella Larsen, Leila Amos Pendleton, Eloise Bibb Thompson, Olivia Ward Bush, Gertrude Mossell, Georgia Douglas Johnson, Gwendolyn Bennett, Jessie Redmon Fauset, Angelina Weld Grimke and Marita Bonner. Kate Dossett is an award-winning historian of the twentieth century United States. She has published widely on Black cultural and literary histories, including her prize-winning books, Bridging Race Divides: Black Feminism, Nationalism, and Integration, 1896-1935 and Radical Black Theatre in the New Deal. She is currently Professor of American History at the University of Leeds.
