This struggle began in the mid-nineteenth century at the time of the enlightenment from the French revolution with Olimpe de Gouges, to whom we owe thanks to his persistence the "declaration of women's rights" in 1791, as this allowed somehow regulate an equality of women with respect to men in all areas of public and private life.
