The main feminist movements and organizations at a global level are identified with respect to the arduous work they have had to face for the ratification of their rights and all forms of discrimination against women. This struggle began in the mid-nineteenth century at the time of the enlightenment from the French revolution with Olimpe de Gouges, to whom we owe thanks to his persistence the "declaration of women's rights" in 1791, as this allowed somehow regulate an equality of women with respect to men in all areas of public and private life.
