Breastfeeding is the ideal way to provide young children with the nutrients they need for healthy growth and development. The effort of the nursing area is that the patient feels safe and a bio-pisco-social dimension is established thus understanding the multidisciplinary actions with the health team. Where a need is identified that has not been met and there is a level of anxiety, stress surrounding any intervention, fear of pain that may be experienced, body changes or the possibility of death of women experiencing childbirth. In this process women may experience different feelings and emotions that affect breastfeeding. This book aims to identify the emotional intelligence of women during breastfeeding of the preterm newborn, ensuring comprehensive health care of the newborn.
