The issue of women's contribution to household expenses was addressed through the topic "Contribution financière de la femme salariée burkinabè aux charges de ménage dans les couples monogames où l'homme et la femme sont des salariés : Cas des agents du Ministère de la promotion de la femme et du genre, des instituteurs/trices de l'école primaire de wemtenga de la ville de Ouagadougou et de Loumbila".The aim is to verify the effectiveness of salaried women's contribution to household expenses. We used a questionnaire survey and interviews with 110 people. Statistical analysis shows that socio-cultural factors hinder the salaried wife's participation in household expenses. Thus, in older couples, the financial weight of the wife's contribution is greater than in younger couples.
