This book aims to be a definitive reference source for international women's soccer. This is the second edition of what will hopefully become an annual event, and it has been updated with results from the last twelve months. It starts with coverage of the major worldwide tournaments: World Cup, Olympic Games, youth World Cups and some of the major invitational tournaments, many of which have been added for this edition including the new Arnold Clark Cup in England and the Mundialito from the 1980s. Then each continental confederation is covered, detailing their championships and results of their youth tournaments, then a list of the nations of that confederation. For each nation their tournament achievements are listed as well as a list of all known competitive international matches. For Europe, results of the UEFA Champions League are included, and I have attempted to include league champions and cup winners for each European nation. For this edition, I have added the unofficial 1979 European Championship, which was not organised by UEFA. Similarly, for South America, results of the Copa Libertadores are included, and I have attempted to include league champions for each South American nation. The cut-off point is the end of July 2022, to include the continental championships of Europe, South America, North and Central America, Africa and Oceania, which fill a lot of the qualification places for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
