This book is a collection of studies done by the authors in the context of a research project they collaborated on. It is a general project that started from a common theme and then articulated in two different directions. The theme of this research is the study of Structures Resistant in Shape and the use of wood in buildings. The light and self-supporting roofs are studied, in theoretical form, for their characteristics of adaptability and transformability. A practical application is provided by the thesis project reported.
