Kidane Giday Gebremedhin received his M.Sc. in Farm Forestry from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU. He is a Lecturer at Mekelle University, Ethiopia, in areas of Dryland forest management, and currently PhD candidate in Forest Restoration Ecology at the University of Leuven, Belgium.
