Ana María Gispert-Sauch Colls est titulaire d'un diplôme en philosophie et en arts, section philologie classique, de l'université de Barcelone, en Espagne. Elle a fait des études de troisième cycle en sciences sociales à la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), où elle a enseigné les langues classiques. Elle a enseigné le latin et le grec à la faculté des lettres.
