Autorenporträt
Artist Susan Kapuscinski Gaylord is inspired by the spirit of nature, both wild and cultivated, and the beauty and power of words. Her work includes artist's books, calligraphy, installations, and digital compositions. It has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and Canada and in Korea and featured in books and magazines including 1,000 Artists' Books, 500 Handmade Books, Letter Arts Review, Bound & Lettered, and Somerset Studio Magazine. Susan is a seasoned presenter. She currently lectures on the history of the book and the artist's life and shares simple DIY bookmaking with recycled material on her youtube channel.
