Andrew Greenhalgh was born and raised on the Wirral, United Kingdom. Andrew graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in civil engineering. After a long career as a civil engineer, working for a variety of construction companies, including a leading global technical consultancy, Andrew decided to follow his passion for technology and joined an IT innovation company, working within the UK education sector. Andrew is a professional member of the Chartered Institute for IT.As a civil engineer and an IT professional, Andrew has authored many reports, technical documents and user guides. Andrew has developed a unique poetry writing style, which often creates an emotional rollercoaster for the reader.Words from a Distant Time is Andrew's second poetry book. His first compilation of poetry is entitled Simple Words for a More Elegant Time.
