In Words of Wellbeing, A to Z you will find twenty-six words, one for each letter of the alphabet, associated with a specific aspect of spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing. Each word is accompanied by a inspirational and thought-provoking reflection, which will encourage you to see life from a new perspective. This book communicates its message both through written language and through twenty-six paintings, each inspired by a different word. These words of wellbeing will envelop you with warmth, fill you with motivation, and encourage you on your wellness and spiritual journey. Life can be beautiful and terrible, sometimes even simultaneously, but with the right perspective, attitudes, and practices, the beautiful part can gain definition until living beautifully becomes second nature.
Autorenporträt
Kate Vredevoogd grew up under the looming conifers of the Pacific Rainforest with her loving parents and her many animal friends. She started photography in Bellingham, Washington at fifteen years old when she was gifted her first film camera, and she started writing long before that, shortly after learning the alphabet. These two things are the glue that hold the pieces of her together. She was born in Washington State, but after catching the travel bug she went on an epic road trip across the United States, which eventually led her to getting on a flight to Spain, where she would spend the next portion of her life. She lived in Granada for six years and dedicated her time to perfecting her craft as a lifestyle and travel photographer and writing her first book, From the Same Quiver, which was published in December 2019. She currently lives in Málaga.
