World renown performance poet, C. Steven Blue, has been called the last Hippy Poet of the Woodstock Generation. Some of the younger poets he works with have referred to him as a modern day Robert Frost. He is a poet, publisher, producer & host of poetry & art events, musician, artist, multi-media performer and videographer. Raised in Southern California, Steven is retired from a 27 year career in Hollywood stage production. He now lives in Eugene, Oregon. He has performed from coast to coast, been published in over a dozen countries and interviewed on television, radio and in literary magazines. His work appears in countless literary journals and anthologies, both in print and online. Steven stands outside the normal conventions of modern poetry. He is a lyrical/performance poet, reading and performing his poetry from a unique rhythmic perspective: at the crossroads of poetry and music. His poems have poured out of him since he was a boy, winning his first poetry award at age twelve. Steven has five published books of his own. With his publishing company, Arrowcloud Press, he has also published other poets as well as poetry anthologies for the city of Eugene, Oregon and the Oregon Poetry Association. Through the years he has produced & hosted many poetry & art events, throughout Oregon and California. They have benefitted local charities and fundraisers, as well as given opportunity and exposure to countless poets, artists and musicians. He has videotaped many of these events and showcases them through hundreds of videos on his YouTube channel. Here, the performers can view themselves in action, as well as show their work to friends and family. These videos also serve as a window of modern artistic expression for the generations to come. You can view them here: https: //www.youtube.com/user/csblue/playlists. Steven is also the pioneering author of the very first-ever poetry chapbook actually published as a Facebook page: www.facebook.com/591180474377593. More information on C.
