ELAINE SWAN is senior teaching fellow at Lancaster University Management School, UK. Her research interests include diversity practices, corporate pedagogy culture and racialisation and gendering in organizations. She has published on the subjects of therapeutic cultures, diversity and gender and race in organizations. She has recently published a co-authored book with Caroline Gatrell entitled Gender and Diversity in Management: A Concise Introduction (Sage).
