The social climate aspect is a key determinant of human effectiveness within an organization. This work focuses on the study of the reflection on staff productivity, social and psychosocial factors known to be harmful to the general work atmosphere, namely interpersonal conflicts, discrimination, violence and finally the professional stress that can be generated by the resurgence of these scourges and leading to the depression of the human resources mobilized. At the end of this work, the results of the empirical study show that, in the Cameroonian context of private enterprises, violence at work constitutes a non-negligible amplifier of occupational stress; the latter can be - depending on its intensity - a stimulant or an inhibitor of human efficiency; as for interpersonal conflicts, they are not scientifically harmful to human performance in the workplace; on the other hand, discriminatory practices prove to be considerably detrimental to the productivity of workers. Keywords: Work atmosphere; Staff productivity.
