There are numerous conflicting issues in the State and Federal owned Universities studied and these conflicting issues take different forms, hence, necessitating this research. The objectives of the study is to determine the extent of the relationship that exists between interpersonal conflict and work absenteeism, between intergroup conflict and turnover intention, and ascertain the extent of the relationship that exists between communication gap and job ambiguity among lecturers in public universities in Anambra State. Findings revealed that there was a statistically significant positive relationship exists between interpersonal conflict and work absenteeism and that there was a statistically significant positive relationship existing between communication gap and job ambiguity among lecturers in public universities in Anambra State. It was recommended that the management of the universities need to go the extra mile to find out lecturers that are having interpersonal issues inother to wade in and settle it and not just allowing the people involved to handle the issues themselves and there is need for a strong conflict resolution committee in various departments.
