We have demonstrated, however, that comprehensive and humanistic approaches are not necessarily mutually exclusive for they can be mutually inclusive and reinforcing as regards to implementation of NEEDS in Nigeria.This study focused on the role of World Bank in public and private sector reforms in Nigeria between 1999 and 2007.

Dr. Ernest Toochi Aniche (Sr.) holds B. Sc, M. Sc and Ph. D degrees of the Department of Political Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) with bias in International Relations. His areas of research interest include International Environmental Politics, Oil Politics, etc. He lectures in Federal University, Otuoke (FUO), Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
