The editor, Prof. Dr. Frank Emmert, LL.M., is the John S. Grimes Professor of Law and Director of the Center for International and Comparative Law at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Originally from Germany, he has taught widely in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, as well as North- and Central America, and speaks regularly and conferences all over the world. In more than 100 publications, Professor Emmert has dealt with issues in European Union Law, International Business and Trade Law, and the Transformation of Legal Systems in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East towards Democracy and Rule of Law. Professor Emmert has given advice to many transnational corporations, governments, and NGOs, and is available to serve as an arbitrator in international commercial and investment disputes.
