It has long been my ambition to write and now I have reached the status of ¿elderly lady¿, I have time to progress with that aim. I am not a celebrity; I am one of the millions of us who tread our own little paths and weave our own little webs. All character names are fictitious, with the exception of officials where known. WW1 and WORKHOUSE HILL is Volume 1 of My Family Memoirs. I intend to write Volume 2, a sequel, within the next two years, as long as my health permits.
