Autorenporträt
MARTHA J. WEIL is a Black-American woman artist and writer, raised in East Lansing, MI. Her father, an educator and early mentor, taught sculpture and drawing in the fine art department, at Michigan State University. Martha was a gifted child. Later on, she was awarded academic scholarship to attend Parson's at The New School's Illustration BFA program, in lower Manhattan, NY. Weil spent the next twenty years working in New York City's publishing, fine art and design worlds. Martha J. Weil is best known for her work as "In Touch Weekly Magazine" columnist, writing "The Stars Above" from 2002-2006, for Bauer Publishing Englewoodcliffs, NJ. Martha J. Weil resides in East Lansing, MI.
