Michelle Worthington is an internationally published award-winning author of empowering picture books for children. Two-time winner of the International Book Award for Children's Hardcover Fiction and finalist in the USA Best Book Awards, Michelle also received a Gellett Burgess Award for Children's Literature and a Silver Moonbeam Award for her contribution to celebrating diversity in Picture Books. Two of her picture books were listed on the 2018 CBCA Picture Book of the Year award Notables list. She is a real-life book fairy. Katrin Dreiling was born and raised in Germany, but moved to Queensland, Australia with her husband and three children. She creates quirky illustrations that feature different media. Katrin’s picture book The World’s Worst Pirate, written by Michelle Worthington, has been awarded 'Notable Book 2018’ by the CBCA and was shortlisted for several other awards. Katrin also teaches art to children and conducts illustration workshops for both adults and children.
