Elisha Kwabena Marfo est actuellement membre du corps enseignant du département de théologie de l'université Valley View, au Ghana. Il a obtenu un doctorat en Ancien Testament à l'Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, aux Philippines. Il a publié plus de quarante articles dans des revues à comité de lecture. Elisha est marié à Esther et ils ont trois enfants.
