Autorenporträt
Linda Wiges and her husband live in Traer, Iowa. She's had careers as a high school English teacher and as an office professional at the University of Northern Iowa. Her previous writing has consisted of full-length plays which she directed locally. Her recent debut novel was the successful HAPPY DREAMS, a dramatic tale set at the Meskwaki Settlement. WORTH THE WEIGHT is not a sequel to that story but is another brilliant example of humor, surprising twists and characters to care about.
