Jack Thorne's previous plays include 2nd May 1997 (Bush Theatre) When You Cure Me (Bush Theatre), Stacy (Arcola Theatre) and Fanny and Faggot (Finborough Theatre). He also writes for television (Skins and Shameless) and cinema (The Scouting Book for Boys), for which he won the Best British Newcomer award at the 2009 London Film Festival. He lives in Luton.
