She received her J.D. from the University of Denver and her M.S. from the University of Baltimore. 'She practiced law in Colorado and clerked for a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals. 'She has had two articles published in the Journal of Criminal Justice Education focusing on teaching research and writing to criminal justice students.
