Philip Womack has been a fan of myths and legends since he first read about Pegasus at the age of five. He's written seven critically acclaimed novels for children, including The Other Book, based on the story of Merlin and Vivien, and The Double Axe, a reimagining of the minotaur myth. He teaches creative writing at Royal Holloway, University of London.
