Life is like the weather. We can't control it, so we try to predict it. There will be rainy days, but always know the sun will come again! In Wa'Quita McCauley's first book, Writefully Honest: Be Yourself, preteens and teens felt seen and heard. In her thought-provoking sequel, Writefully Honest: Life Happens, McCauley dives deeper into the realities of life. Encouraging youth to embrace their vulnerability, recognize the effect of significant life experiences, and express themselves, the sequel builds upon the lessons on communication imparted in the first book, providing further tools to enable youth to heal and enter adulthood unbroken. Offering encouragement to parents as well, McCauley facilitates open lines of communication, love, and support within families. Readers are offered motivational quotes, practical advice, thought-provoking prompts, and spaces for journaling about experiences and feelings. It is an ideal companion for any preteen or teenager looking for validation or any adult wanting to improve communication with their child.
