Author Konni Byford loves being creative. As a child she painted with mud, designed doll dresses, recorded her own songs, and invented stories so she could fall asleep in the dark. Today she enjoys writing, quilting, decorating, and turning old things into something new. Konni holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University. She lives in Missouri with her husband, Mart. They have two adult children, Matt and Leah, a son-in-law, Steve, daughter-in-law, Kristi, and two grandsons, Jackson and Andrew.
