Many Washington State University alumni have served in the military, and the tales of these Cougar veterans bring to life heroism and gallantry that should never be forgotten. C. James Quann worked in higher education for more than forty years, including twenty-five years as University Registrar at WSU. He is a Korean War veteran, founder of the WSU Veterans Memorial, and author of four books.
