It can generate layout code for C++, Python and Perl. wxGlade is a GUI designer written in Python with the popular GUI toolkit wxPython which helps create wxWidgets/wxPython user interfaces. At the moment it can generate Python, C++, Perl and XRC (wxWidgets'' XML resources) code. It is not a full featured IDE, but simply a "designer": the generated code does nothing apart from displaying the created widgets. wxWidgets (formerly wxWindows) is a widget toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for cross-platform applications. wxWidgets enables a program''s GUI code to compile and run on several computer platforms with minimal or no code changes. It covers systems such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux/Unix (X11, Motif, and GTK+), OpenVMS, OS/2 and AmigaOS. A version for embedded systems is under development.
