Michael R. Murphy lives in Sydney, Australia with his wife, Valery, and has been married for forty years. They have three adult children and four incredible grandkids.Four decades of ministry, 10,000 hours of coaching during ten years as founder of the non-profit Leaderscape, he is still driven to see churches get "unstuck" in growth and influence.He has served in leadership of Australian Christian Churches for twenty years, as Executive Pastor of Hills CLC (now Hillsong) with growth from seventy to 5,000 people. Then led Shirelive (now Horizon) for eighteen years. He is now Chancellor of Alphacrucis University College.Challenging effective discipleship and growth in churches remain his passion.
