Outside North America it is marketed as the Yamaha BW's, and also as the MBK Booster. The Zuma features a 14mm Teikei carburetor with automatic choke, reed-valve induction, a fan-assisted cooling system, a Yamaha exclusive Autolube Oil Injection System with an easy-to-read indicator light located on instrument panel which alerts rider when oil level gets low, and electric starting with backup kick start. Also featured are five spoke cast wheels with low-profile 120/90-10 front and 130/90-10 rear tires. The front fork has 2.6 inches of travel, and rear shock has 2.4 inches of travel. The scooter also has 155mm hydraulic front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Though there have been reports of some later 90's models having front drums.
