Dai Zong goes to find Gongsun Sheng to help the Liangshan Marsh outlaws deal with Gao Lian. Dai meets Yang Lin by coincidence and they travel together. They pass by Yinma River and meet the bandits there led by Pei Xuan, Deng Fei and Meng Kang. Dai invites them to join Liangshan and they agree. Yang follows Dai back to Liangshan later after they found Gongsun Sheng.
