Akeba Canning was born in Trinidad in 1987. An athlete, a survivor, a student of mindfulness and meditation, and a storyteller, she hopes that her memoir will inspire and resonate with the readers who need it most. Akeba currently lives in Brampton, Ontario and is a strong believer of spirituality. As she vibrates in tune with the universe, she continues to prevail in manifesting her greatest desires.
