His landlord, Steve Oberman, uses the downstairs warehouse space to secretly continue work on a CIA project that, for political reasons, was scrapped by the president. Through incidental circumstance, Jack becomes involved in the project, the result of which is his ability to travel back in time. Realizing this ability, he sets his goal to go far enough back in time to prevent the murder of his wife. In pursuit of this quest, Jack feels compelled to right other wrongs, thus becoming Yesterman, a reluctant superhero. Christopher Gayle is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist who made his first foray into fiction writing with his novel The Clock. Yesterman is his second work, co-authored with Carl Lapeyrouse. Chris was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. His father was a land owner and cattle farmer; his mother a school teacher and housewife. Chris has an older brother and sister. He and his wife Julie live in Bossier City, Louisiana and have three children and one dog. Chris attended LSU in Baton Rouge where he earned his baccalaureate and LSUHSC in Shreveport where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed residency training. Chris is a founder and managing partner of Imagine Date Studios in Shreveport, LA. His cofounding and creative partner is Carl J. Lapeyrouse. .
