About the author: Isabel Benavides is an author-illustrator based in South Wales. With a background in museums and heritage, her stories are influenced by the tradition of fairytales and fables, as well as the natural world around her. Focusing on themes around kindness to people and the planet, she develops gently playful stories and pictures that help children make sense of the world, ponder a topic, reflect and smile. The story, 'Yogi Duck and the Little Chick, is inspired by RSBP Newport Wetlands Reserve.
