This project drew on the talent and hard work of many in the community. Linda Cooper, town supervisor, amateur historian, and former journalist, and Alice Roker, town clerk and former NBC producer, worked with volunteers to gather thoughts and photographs for Yorktown. It is their hope that the book will generate a new sense of Yorktown's heritage and place in history.
