Oddly enough, Mary Jo "M. J." Rennert's eclectic career path prepared her to write this book. A registered nurse by education, she also painted portraits and worked in the publishing industry for ten years as an art director, editor, and writer. She completed the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend's Education for Ministry Program and served her parish as a pastoral minister and parish nurse before launching a family-owned business. Along the way, Mary Jo studied Pope (now Saint) John Paul II's Theology of the Body and wrote about the beauty and sanctity of married love. After her divorce, she completed Grief Recovery Method® (GRM) Specialist training through the Grief Recovery Institute®. Both Theology of the Body and GRM influence her approach to divorce recovery. Mary Jo was married for nearly forty-five years and has two adult children and one granddaughter. She wrote this book under her maiden name. Mary Jo Rennert is passionate about divorce ministry and views it as an urgent need in the Church at large. She's available for retreats and days of reflection and can be contacted via her website, youarestillbeloved.com. Readers can find her blog there, along with helpful free resources.
