The feeling of not existing is not true but I must identify it so it no longer controls how I feel and think. ˃˃˃ Where did my feeling of not existing truly come from? When I was ten years old, I grew up with a mother with severe panic disorder. In the middle of the night she would cry, scream and hyperventilate and then wake me up to comfort her. Four years ago, my wife told me one morning I did not look emotionally well and asked what was wrong. I explained to her way and she told me to not intellectualize it but to feel it. I did not know how so she told me to make a sound out of this feeling. When I did, I started hyperventilating. In that very moment, I knew the pain or "stress" I was always carrying belonged to my mom. She had panic attacks because she feared death. She is a person who is always worried about health and safety because she fears death.
