Alexandra Strick is a writer and freelance consultant and a cofounder of Inclusive Minds, a collective for people who are passionate about inclusion, diversity, equality, and accessibility in children's literature. This is her first book with Candlewick Press. She lives in England. Steve Antony is an award-winning author and illustrator of numerous books for children, including the Mr. Panda series, which has sold over a million copies worldwide. Born in England and raised in New Mexico, he now lives in southwest England with his husband and their cat.
