After nine interesting years of N.H.S midwifery hospital experience she obtained the job of her dreams in another war zone of sorts. Community midwifery allowed her to become an autonomous midwife in an inner-city area of England. She worked for a GP practise in a designated geographical area. She loved that job and would have done it for nothing.
