Produktbeschreibung
A dynamic poetry book which explores sensitive important subjects such as what makes you feel truly alive, the raw emotions of heartache, and mental health issues and the challenges and pain we can all face, whether you are going through a crisis or you are the one supporting, confused, and picking up the pieces. Poetic verses that challenge you to dive deep into yourself and discover who you really are. Not who you think you are or who you think you need to be for others, but who you really are when everything has been stripped down and you are completely vulnerable. I want you to take off your mask and be truly honest with yourself. Paul Easton's hope is that he can provide you with vulnerability and brutal honesty of his own so that you can begin your process of learning who you really are, what you don't need anymore, and what makes you feel alive. I want you to stop f*cking lying to yourself.
Autorenporträt
Paul Easton hails from Dunfermline, Scotland, United Kingdom, the birth place of Andrew Carnegie. He moved to Virginia, USA in 2005 to follow his dream of coaching basketball. Paul served as an assistant high school coach, head high school coach, and as a basketball trainer for all ages for 19 years. Paul references the meaningful relationships and deep connections he has been fortunate to build along the way as his favorite part of coaching. Paul worked many jobs to make the dream of coaching a reality from kitchen worker to security guard to Director of security, and many other interesting odd jobs along the way! It was in November, 2023 that he decided to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard to be more accurate and started to write his unfiltered thoughts of his own life experiences. Paul explains that the more he wrote the braver he became in expressing his vulnerabilities and fears. His aim is to help others who experience similar feelings and emotions. His form of poetry and story telling became his most fluid way of expressing his raw feelings and emotions. When he is not writing ferociously into his phones notes section everywhere from the wee hours of the morning to stuck in standstill traffic, Paul loves playing and watching football (soccer), Manchester United diehard, getting lost in song lyrics, traveling back to Scotland to see is family, and spending time with his two children. Oh, he also has a black cat...
