Lois Morton has been an art educator for over 30 years in private and public schools. She was inspired to teach from her parents, George and Chrissie Dickerson, and encouraged by her high school art teacher, Mr. Jack Stevenson. She was twice named teacher of the year and once with her fine arts team. Lois has won awards in gallery juried art shows and was named outstanding merit artist with her whimsical, colorful collages. She resides in Fulshear, Texas with her husband Lee and enjoys her travels to Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado to see her two sons, daughters-in-law, and her five grandchildren.
