Autorenporträt
Maggie Fischer is originally from Oregon, but now lives in Seattle, Washington, after receiving her B.A. in English from Gonzaga University. The daughter of a children’s librarian, Maggie has grown up surrounded by books and feels impossibly lucky to write and edit books for kids. She spends her time trying not to get worried about the increasing number of crows in her backyard, petting her enormous cat, Finch, and drinking more coffee than is probably healthy. Todd Lauzon was born in a small snowy town in Northern Ontario and raised on a steady diet of '80s Saturday morning cartoons, picture books, and comics. His favorite pastimes were drawing and playing hockey. Brave enough to keep drawing as an adult, he studied graphic design and went on to gain an illustrated career in print advertising, children’s books, and most recently mobile games for kids. Passionate about illustrating for children, especially picture books, Todd is particularly excited by the opportunity to bring cute, fun, and silly drawings that expand the imagination of kids around the world. Todd currently lives in Montreal, Canada, with his growing family of two (soon three) young children.
