Karah is a sexual violence survivor who received her master's degree in Social Work in 2021. Karah aspires to write and share poems that promote social justice, including gender and health equity. She believes in each person's potential to positively change and the healing power of writing to process grief and trauma. In her free time, you can find her playing with her two dogs, spending time with family, and volunteering in her community.
