YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS is an insightfully entertaining collection of columns, musings, and mostly true memories from writer Jay Webster. Each of the bite-sized chapters reads like a conversation, crossing between comedy, confessional, and social observation. Jay has spent the last three decades making things up for a living, alongside his wife, Ann-Janette. He has helped to create books, plays, independent films, albums, paintings, community events, and even one offspring. Only the last one is an undisputed success. Now Jay is tackling many of our most pressing issues: the problem with pants, what's so wrong with being wrong, is anger the fast food of emotions, and his life as an acrobat.
Autorenporträt
Jay Webster lives in Oklahoma (the center of the known universe) with his wife, Ann-Janette, and their nearly perfect daughter, Evanjalyn. The husband/wife team cofounded PioneerDream, a production company with over thirty years' experience supporting non-profits, Fortune 100 companies, and entertainment projects. As an award-winning video producer, Jay is proud to say he makes things up for a living. In addition to being a regular humor columnist, Jay has written a non-award-winning children's book (The Bird and the Moon) with the help of his wife and daughter. (The Bird and the Moon includes original music from Ann-Janette and narration featuring a six-year-old Evanjalyn and is available for order online.) Jay is a firm believer in the value of humans and that we should live our lives together . . . even if he doesn't want to most days and his family has to force the situation with arranged social gatherings against his will. Please feel free to communicate with Jay about your observations, questions, speaking opportunities, and whatever else. He would love to hear from you. jw@pioneerdream.com
