Eliza Marley is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago creative writing and film programs and is a current graduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago program for writers. Eliza writes with magical realist and surrealist influences. A Queer and neurodivergent writer, much of her work looks at the mysteries hidden within the mundane, peeling back the trivialities of daily life to reveal something new and strange. In her spare time, Eliza plays the harp and is an avid reader of folklore and mysteries. Eliza enjoys hiking, kayaking, and baking. She can often be found with a cup of tea and her cat, Theo, laying on top of whichever book she is trying to read.
