Jessica F. Norwood, M.Ed., is the founder & owner of Knotty Girl Publishing, LLC, and author of the Your Hair is Magic line of books. Born and raised in Germany (where her big, dark, curly hair always stood out), it took her a long time to love her curls. Now, she is on a mission to make sure curly kids everywhere see themselves represented in her books, and learn to love their hair (and the rest of themselves) right from the start. Jessica lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband, two curly kids, and straight-haired dachshund (whom they love nonetheless).
