Autorenporträt
Connie L. Montgomery is a follower of Jesus Christ, a wife, and a mother of two young adults. She is also a retired occupational therapist. Currently, she is a national and international orator and program consultant with the National Hemophilia Foundation. In addition, Ms. Montgomery is a volunteer Patient and Family Advisor at the Medical University of South Carolina and a member of their Family Faculty. She is on the Board of Directors for nSpiration Foundation as its charitable campaign chair. nSpiration is a 501(c)(3) organization that helps patients with rare, chronic bleeding disorders and other health conditions, along with their families, by providing inspiration, education, and financial support. Ms. Montgomery is also the founder of Steele Magnolias of South Carolina, a women's organization that celebrates the compassion and volunteerism of women across the state of South Carolina and the nation. Ms. Montgomery enjoys sharing her faith in God and the importance of compassionate healthcare and good manners. She founded and, for over a decade, has managed the Pawleys Island Manners Club for children four to ten years old at the Waccamaw Neck Library in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. She enjoys serving children because they are interesting human beings with resilient spirits. Mrs. Montgomery knows our children are truly our treasured legacies. So she encourages all people to invest time, talents, and resources wisely in the lives of our youth!
