She is the author of Drinkers, Drivers, and Bartenders: Balancing Private Choice and Public Accountability. BRIAN W. PENCE, MPH, PhD, is an associate professor of community and family medicine and global health at Duke University’s Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research.
