Alec Manley grew up in rural Nova Scotia, Canada and has always been fascinated with the electoral system. He holds a BPhil in Leadership Studies from the University of New Brunswick and a MA in Public Policy from the University of Ottawa where he was inspired and outraged at the lack of efforts on the part of government to engage young people.
